When a domain name Registration has expired, you have between 30 to 45 days in order to renew the domain name via the the standard process of paying your renewal fee.
Once 45 days have passed however, the domain then enters what is known as a Redemption Period. The Redemption Period is made up of 30 days and will require you to get in touch with us. The fee for redeeming the domain is also a lot more expensive than your standard renewal price as it varies between £30 - £90 depending on your gTLD.
If the domain is not redeemed after 30 days, it will have it's registration deleted. It will only then be retrievable by re-registering the domain, which can be an issue if someone has registered it immediately after deletion due to a drop catching service.
Please note this process does not apply to .UK domain registrations.
