Can I hide my personal details on a domain registration?

Normally when a domain name is registered, details of the registrant are displayed when somebody performs a WHOIS lookup on the domain.

If your website is not used for business purposes and you wish to keep your details private, you can choose to hide this information.

When ordering your domain registration from Hostiname, choose "WHOIS opt-out" if your domain ends in .uk and "WHOIS Privacy" for other types of domain names.
